Obama does not want to harm his post-presidential career. If he pisses off large corporations, he will not get the same millions every other recent president has received for speeches and donations to their charities.

That is the only reason as to why Obama has not stepped forward and done the right thing.

Organizers report that the roster is now full, with an actual total of more than 2,100 vets. A new roster has been started for future missions as early as mid-December.
