Trump is amassing a cabinet with nothing but Brownies. All incompetent, unqualified nimrods.

Incompetent in the sense that they will not best serve the country or the majority of its people. Very competent in crippling government and hurting people.

I don't know. There is a certain level of poor where unless bold initiatives actually reach down and pull someone up, then it's just another day of struggling and there is nothing new to notice. I know that kind of poor. Been there.

For some, they'll gain big from a right wing government, so they'll notice how much better it all is for them - and won't care how bad it is for others.

The rest will be split. Notice, but in denial. Notice and angry over it. Won't notice, and in denial.

6. Confident leaders don't need to be the smartest person in the room and hire strong subordinates...

...low confidence always have to be the smartest person in the room and they hire weak subordinates to ensure that. The fact that Trump is the intersection of low confidence AND stupidity, it makes it hard to find subordinates (cabinet officials in this case) who are dumber than he is. They exist, obviously, but it's hard work to find them.

My fear is that someday we will look back and say "Heck of a job, browning...relatively speaking".

they will perform exactly as planned. The goal is to destroy government and anything that benefits the hoi polloi.
