Why did I think of HUAC as a good idea while commenting on FB

about the horrific appointment of Betsy DeVos as Education Secretary, I had a very strange thought. Recently I read that Gingrich was in favor of reinstating HUAC. He was talking about those he perceived as a threat to our "American way of life" or something. As I thought of all the reasons Ms DeVos is a completely wrong for the job, it struck we that we may need to investigate the "Un-American Activities" of Trump appointments.
I believe trying to destroy public education qualifies as does everything Jeff Sessions ever said and did as Un-American. Our version of HUAC might be just the thing.
