If Rmoney has any pride he would say he doesn't want to be Herr Drump's Secretary of State.

It is shameful how the Deplorables are beating him up in the press:

WASHINGTON — Kellyanne Conway, a top adviser to President-elect Donald J. Trump, on Sunday assailed Mitt Romney, a leading contender for secretary of state in the Trump cabinet, accusing him of having gone “out of his way to hurt” the president-elect during the Republican primaries.

Ms. Conway’s criticism of Mr. Romney, on ABC’s “This Week” program, came as Mr. Trump is weighing whether to choose Mr. Romney, Rudolph W. Giuliani or perhaps another candidate for the State Department post.

Asked about her comments on Twitter last week that she had received a “deluge” of concern about Mr. Romney, Ms. Conway said she had discussed the issue privately with Mr. Trump and would respect his decision. But she made clear that she personally opposed choosing Mr. Romney as secretary of state.

secure the SOS appointment, he deserves comprehensive dismissal by the U.S. electorate.

That's absolutely the nicest version I can use. Mr. Romney would not have liked the first draft at all.

conference, and openly say that if he is offered the position as SOS, he would decline, because in all good conscience, I cannot be part of an administration who is racist and sexist.

not going to happen, and Romney not only will not be appointed, but is already being ridiculed by the trump brown shirts

with you that it's so unlikely to happen.

Romney should say, "Yes, I was very critical of the Trump campaign, but after a close look at his Cabinet picks, I regret that I was not even more critical, because trust me, folks, this guy is crazier than a shithouse rat."

That would create quite a stir in Mormon circles, I would imagine.

But it would suggest that at least Romney has a shred of self-respect and dignity, as opposed to a certain president-elect and his team.

What they think of him. I dont think he will or should apologize. Although he could do the non apology apology. Say he is sorry if they were offended.

But he may think he can prevent alliances to break up if he is sec of state.

I would much rather have him than giuliani.

beyond sleazy character and his inability to be an effective street sweeper let alone POTUS. Kellyanne Conjob is his hit broad, carrying the toxic torch of revenge so Drumpf can make the masses believe that it was out of his tiny widdle white hands cuz all the people are sayin', a lot of people are sayin', folks.... Drumpf is such an easy read! As I always say, the really stupid people are those who think other people are stupid.

... and hope for the least incompetent or the least crazy of possible choices.

I am no Romney fan ... but I do not believe he is straight up crazy , deranged or completely incompetent. He is a conservative (and I am against almost everything conservatives stand for/ can think of anything I share) ... but he is not the equivalent of David Duke ... and David Duke or someone of his ilk is a potential consideration in this administration.

With all that said tRump is vindictive , self absorbed and totally ignorant r/t governing (or being a human) ... because Romney is not a complete psychopath he is likely not seriously being considered

As was pointed out to me, it doesn't necessarily mean Clinton would be elected, because Republicans in Congress could still elect him. However, it would make the Republicans in Congress own Trump's Presidency.

We're seeing more and more crazy from Trump. People tell us not to expect something unusual from the EC, but these are unusual times.
