Delta Airlines has apologized for not removing a passenger who was shouting obscenities at Hillary Clinton supporters on one of its flights. The apology comes following the release of a video posted to Facebook that shows the pro-Trump passenger yelling at passengers at the back of the plane, calling them Hillary bitches and declaring his support for the president-elect. Our responsibility for ensuring all customers feel safe and comfortable with Delta includes requiring civil behavior from everyone, Delta said in a statement. The behavior we see in this video does not square with our training or culture and followup will continue so we can better ensure our employees will know they will be fully supported to make the right decisions when these issues arise. The flight originated in Atlanta and landed in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

(9,580 posts)they didn't do something, like remove, this asshole passenger. It just infuriates me when we know what would have happened had it been a person of color or wearing a hijab. They can take their apology and shove it. I will pass this on to the Delta website.

(26,259 posts)Personally, I would have been hitting the flight attendant button. Repeatedly. And, regardless, the flight attendants should have stepped in and intervened, as soon as he stood up and started shouting. People have been escorted off of planes for far, far less.
On the up side, that guy did end up looking like what he is - a total moron. I hope they figured out who he is and flagged him.

(18,124 posts)has employees tell a AA M.D. in two separate occasions to go sit down when they called for a physician, questioning whether person who stood up was M.D. A white M.D. stepped up, no questions. Now this trumpfuhrer brownshirt is allowed to disrespect passengers. This airline sucks....their training of employees suck and I will be contacting this idiot and his boss.
