This is the issue, and we have noticed it:
Trump's top aide, Kellyanne Conway, on Monday slammed an MSNBC report that said the president-elect was "furious" over comments she made Sunday about Mitt Romney.
Conway called the reporting "sexist" and said she could have any job she wants in Trump's administration, according to MSNBC.
Top aides to Trump said they were "baffled" over Conway's comments about Romney, the 2012 GOP presidential nominee, MSNBC reported earlier Monday. A source said her comments escalated concerns that Conway is "pushing her own agenda" instead of driving Trump's message.
Incoming chief of staff Reince Priebus and incoming chief strategist Stephen Bannon are reportedly becoming frustrated with Conway for not becoming a team player.
Conway on Sunday blasted Romney, a possible pick for secretary of State, for comments he made about Trump during the presidential campaign. She also questioned whether Romney would be loyal.
"I'm all for party unity, but I'm not sure we have to pay for that with the secretary of State position," Conway said on CNN's "State of the Union."
We have all noticed her obvious ambition, and speaking for Trump, about "lists" of people against Trump, etc,
you can hear the "we" in her sentences, like the stereotypical pushy wife of a doctor or General or etc. She is becoming more Trump than Trump, and the infighting has begun already.
What say.....a month? Gone by Jan?

No big loss for Conjob... She was just on loan from the Mercer family anyway, she is their loyal retainer.
She won't be hurting for cash. She has a part-time gig as a windmill that pays quite well.

"'A few days ago, I wrote a post for my Facebook friends about my personal experience with narcissistic personality disorder and how I view the president elect as a result. Unexpectedly, the post traveled widely, and it became clear that many people are struggling with how to understand and deal with this kind of behavior in a position of power. Although several writers, including a few professionals, have publicly offered their thoughts on a diagnosis, I am not a professional and this is not a diagnosis. My post is not intended to persuade anyone or provide a comprehensive description of NPD. I am speaking purely from decades of dealing with NPD and sharing strategies that were helpful for me in coping and predicting behavior.'>>>

(43,173 posts)In other words, reassigned. Never out of the picture. But I don't think she even goes that far.
This thing with Romney is a stunt.
Trump doesn't want him, and only wants to humiliate him and punish him for his harsh words during the campaign. So he'll dangle the prospect of Secretary of State in front of him like a carrot and pull it away and laugh at him. I honestly wonder if Romney even wants the job, but in Trump's NPD addled mind, he gets to knock Romney off a peg or two by not giving him a job after floating his name as a possibility.
The question was, is Trump even actually mad at Kellyanne, or just pretending to be mad? Only reason he could actually be mad is if Kellyanne was a little too honest and open on what the Madman's intentions really were here.
But neither of them want Romney, except to punish him in the public eye.

(5,492 posts)Like anyone who trusts Trump, they're going to get screwed in the end.
I'm not convinced yet that this isn't a ploy to get Mitt to get on his knees and grovel for forgiveness before giving it to someone else.
