Gingrich Says Transition Turning Into Reality TV Show

Newt Gingrich, who backs Rudy Giuliani for secretary of state, told the Wall Street Journal that the search for the nation’s top diplomat is playing out a bit like Donald Trump’s longtime reality show, The Apprentice, as he publicly mulls the candidates’ skill sets and invites “audience participation.”

Said Gingrich: “It’s the only place so far that we have seen him trying to do an open apprenticeship, if you will.”

He clearly has no idea what he's doing. It's all new to him and he isn't doing his homework.

You consider yourself a smart man... did you not foresee this type of bullshit happening?

Trump has Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

http://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/narcissistic-personality-disorder/basics/definition/con-20025568

Narcissistic personality disorder is a mental disorder in which people have an inflated sense of their own importance, a deep need for admiration and a lack of empathy for others. But behind this mask of ultra-confidence lies a fragile self-esteem that's vulnerable to the slightest criticism.

A narcissistic personality disorder causes problems in many areas of life, such as relationships, work, school or financial affairs. You may be generally unhappy and disappointed when you're not given the special favors or admiration you believe you deserve. Others may not enjoy being around you, and you may find your relationships unfulfilling.

instead of the long, drawn-out and boring selection process that has become customary, it can just be another process-of-elimination reality TV contest, like "America's Got Talent" or "Survivor" or whatever.

We can call it "America's Next President," and start with a group of 16 candidates who would be split into two teams and have to complete various challenges like completing simple puzzles and running obstacle courses--every week, someone would be eliminated by a combination of viewer voting and a final decision from a group of expert judges comprising Dick Cheney, Lady Gaga, and Chef Gordon Ramsey. Whoever is left at the end of the show would be the president, and the second runner up would be the VP.

Hey, we'd probably have better voter participation that way....

They elected a turd, and are mad that a turd is a turd. Hey Newt - this is just the beginning. We're in for many more instances of grandiose narcissism until the inevitable impeachment.
