I wonder if Trump's supporters are happy with all of the non-establishment picks he's making and

middle class working people just like them. Idiots!!! And losing their Medicare ... and paying an exorbitant cost for private insurance!

so in some case they got what they wanted

with the added benefit that less minorities will be able to vote if Sessions gets confirmed

they would need to actually know, as in read, the records and positions of such appointments.
They don't care. They voted for the bloated huckster, and didn't care enough.

so I think the anti-establishment part of the equation was rather overblown.

All they know is slogans. "Make America great again."

They should all be forced to listen to the opening scene from "The Newsroom."

Just how many of the things "Will McAvoy" ticks off does Trump intend to "make great again?"

Establishment, my ass. That is as vague coming from the right as it was coming from the left.

You'd have thought the country had learned by now what is real and what is not, MSM not withstanding.

Nearly half of the country is stuck back in the days of believing commercials touting cigarette brands that say "I'd rather fight than switch."

Just not as thoroughly dominant. Of course, after the 2008 election, we thought we were on the way to "make America great again," too. Little did we realize back then how many people thought it was a horrible idea.

It would clone Obama, Justin Trudeau, and grab some of Mohandas Gandh's DNA if it's still available, maybe Dag Hammarskjöld's too. Then make a generation of world leaders who actually have the good of the planet in mind, and let them lead. Of course, recreating the circumstances under which they all grew up might prove more difficult than just cloning them, and that's what molded their DNA into the people they became. For Republican Senators, clone Jacob Javits. For Democratic Senators, clone Russ Feingold or Bobby Kennedy.

Spending an hour with Obama seemed to impress him (I got to do that four years ago, and Obama sure impressed the hell out of me). He seems to have forgotten already that EVERYONE else he has gotten advice from in the meantime was a grain of sand compared the Obama's boulder.

they've "won".

They got bragging rights and that will be enough to keep them elated for a little while.

Once reality sinks in, they will go looking for someone to blame and Trump won't be the first person they blame.

He won't even be the second or third or fourth...they'll look to their usual suspects. (Liberals, Democrats, POC, women, LGBT, etc..)

People have been voting against their best interest for always and then blaming their own stupidity, not on who they voted for, but on the rest of us, for (somehow) causing everything wrong in their lives.
