Hillary Clinton has filed a motion to intervene in a lawsuit filed by Jill Stein seeking to require all Wisconsin counties to recount presidential votes by hand.
A Dane County judge is set to hear the Green Party candidate's case Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. If Stein is unsuccessful, each of Wisconsin's 72 counties will have the choice of counting ballots by hand or by machine.
Also on Tuesday, Stein's campaign is required to submit $3.5 million to cover the costs of the recount, a figure based on estimates provided to the state Elections Commission by county clerks. The actual projected cost is $3.9 million, but the cost given to Stein's campaign was $400,000 short of that due to an adding error.
Stein called the cost "exorbitant" and "excessive" but said she plans to pay it. Elections administrator Michael Haas said Stein's campaign will be refunded if the recount comes in under the stated cost.

(3,194 posts)I'm guessing that any real chance of finding fraud would be by doing a hand recount, and avoiding the tabulators which might have already been compromised.
I will be pleasantly surprised if the judge rules in favor of Jill Stein. The way these things usually go for the Democrats, I am expecting otherwise.
The last thing they want is for any fraud to be uncovered.

I live in Outagamie County, one of the counties with possible vote padding in at least four villages; Hortonville, Black Creek, Cicero and Grand Chute. More votes than voters in each village and they're fighting the hand count!
I will jump for joy if a hand count happens. And the tabulators should be confiscated and forensic analyses done on them too!

No, not to be trusted!

(21,425 posts)Wisconsin jacked the price up so high stein doesn't have the $ now to recount Michigan. imagine if she misses the filing deadline for MI, which i think is tomorrow, and the recount overturned Penn and Wisc!!!!!!! The odds of an overturn are minuscule to begin with but exposing fraud in two states and still having Trump win would be horrific.
