6. I Have Been Commenting on My Local Newspaper Site

I have been commenting on my local newspaper site about this for two weeks now. My typical comment is a comeback: "When Trump and the Republican congress destroy your medicare, social security and. public schools, let's talk." This needs to be put through the echo chamber for sure.

The number 1 thing ANY, and I mean ANY politician wants is to be continuously elected. To stay in office and collect that pension, those perks, the power, for some the sex, for others, the prestige. Based on your handle, I'm guessing that you're in Texas. I would have thought that the wholesale ruination of the state under Republican majorities would turn Texas to the Democrats long ago. It hasn't, though, and why is that?
