There'll always be an England...

Daily Mail

Stag do's are traditionally drunken affairs that often involve men gawping at scantily clad women in nightclubs.

But it seems that men these days are opting for more civilised affairs for pre-wedding partying, with requests for civilised dining experiences up by 28 per cent and fun and quirky activities including bubble football and go-karting up by 20 per cent, according to a stag-do booking company.

The findings were released by The Stag Company, and its CEO, Rob Hill, said: 'Our booking patterns show that stag do stereotypes are wearing thin – men want original, authentic experiences that they'll cherish and remember for the right reasons.
'In the last 10 months we've seen demand for lap dancing slide by 47 per cent as food based requests and demand for unusual activities rocket. We've even had stag groups asking us to book afternoon tea!'
