Morons who voted for Republicans now worry they will take away their health care as promised

Last edited Wed Nov 30, 2016, 09:13 PM - Edit history (1)

FFS! Stupid is stupid, and stupid is about to get run over!

http://www.dailykos.com/stories/2016/11/29/1605167/-Morons-who-voted-for-Republicans-now-worry-they-will-take-away-their-health-care-as-promised

In Clay County, 60 percent of residents are covered by Medicaid. They voted for Republican Matt Bevin 71-27, and for Donald Trump 86-11. Neither Bevin, nor Trump, made their opposition to Obamacare secret.

So how does that happen? Because of shit like this:

"If anything changed with our insurance to make it more expensive for us, that would be a big problem," [Lisa] Botner, a community college student, said Friday at the Owsley County Public Library, where she works. "Just with the blood tests, you're talking maybe $1,000 a year without insurance."
But then ol’ Lisa Botner voted GOP.

"I'm just a die-hard Republican," she said
Moron. And don’t tell me this was about economic insecurity, because she literally voted to make her economic situation more insecure. It’s what happens when racism and xenophobia trump economic self-interest.

About them losing their health care.

They didn't see nor care about the bigger picture

A hard head makes for a soft behind. I only hate that many of us young and old alike knew what time it WAS and voted for the right candidate. We'll more than likely have to suffer through a pretty sizable part of of our lives due to their naiveté, ignorance, bigotry which made them vote for this hideous, pathological, ignorant choice of a president in tRump, and even still many of those deplorables etc. will have nerve to blame Pres. Obama for their president's failings, and there will be MANY.

THEY own it. He's THEIR president, and will never, ever be mine.

But none will suffer as much as those who voted for him, because they'll know they brought this upon themselves.

It's like a woman who marries an abusive man. While her family and friends, who warned her not to do so, suffer when she winds up bruised and battered, no one suffers as much as she does. Along with the physical injuries, she has to endure the humiliation of being betrayed by someone she trusted, and the pain of knowing she could have avoided it all simply by making a different choice.

It is like the old couple who lost their house to One West and then voted for Trump. But today on NPR they had 2 stories about the ACA. One woman because of the previous condition because of something she was born with was able to start a business and does not want to lose her insurance not sure how she voted. The other story was about a man who sold insurance got a good plan through the market place then the carrier pulled out. Bought different insurance and and mad because the health care was not good across the river. None of what he was complaining about had to do with the ACA. It was just the insurance company way of doing business. I have ran into the same issue myself several years ago.

As others have already pointed out, most will still manage to blame Obama.
