Veterans won't vote for Democrats. The ones who supported Trump like their guns and racism too much. Palin running anything is a disaster. The VFW and American Legion members hate Obama and also hated Hillary.

Certainly there are veterans who support Democrats and supported Hillary but they are most likely in the minority.

I feel really angry at the stupidity of those who cut their own throats (AND ours) by voting for such a worthless piece of SHIT.
And a SHOCKING number of employees at VA Hospitals (including LOTS of nurses) are tRump supporters, and they ALL have a GREAT Federal UNION. . . . Talking about biting the hand that feeds them. They're going to have their Federal Employees' Union curtailed a LOT.

I STILL don't see the VA becoming a voucher system. Our public healthcare system cannot handle the load it already has. The VA is a cluster FUCK (I worked in one), but I DO support the VA System. I do not want to see it closed and/or privatized.

However, If I'm 100% honest, I have to say that I hate it for most, but I can't help but feel some spiteful satisfaction in anticipating the haters' reaction.

18. I Do Not Believe That Any Democrat Won The Veterans' Vote As A Class. VFW/Legion Irrelevant .

The VFW and American Legion could go a long way in supporting the VA by supporting Democrats. The VA is one of the most socialistic institutions in the country. I remember when is was a very good system that the GOP has largely destroyed so they could privatize it.

The VFW & American Legion are becoming more irrelevant by the day. No sensible veteran would join either because of their racism and bigotry. Perhaps they have out lasted their usefulness. They could have helped stop Trump but they did nothing.

If Pain ends up with the VA job they might wake up and see who is really on their side. It is not the GOP. Plus the GOP has plans that will effect the military itself which will be disastrous.

Trump is a draft dodger and a coward. He would piss his pants and desert under fire. And he will be Commander In Chief.

I am sure there are a lot of veterans who did vote for Hillary. At least they have more sense than the idiots who voted Trump.
