Also, Fuck it, let the right wing destroy the country- We will just have to rebuild it. My #1 goal right now is to SAVE SAVE and SAVE money because you will need a security blanket. Probably be good to grab some rental properties in a few years as soon as they fuck the housing market. Yep, people are going to get hurt, but that is what it is going to take for these far right knuckledraggers to be put out of business for good.

I was saturating myself prior to election cable news, DU and numerous other politicial blogs. Moving away from cable news has taken off some of the sting of my severe disappointment. I got tired of every time I turned on tv and saw orange hitler. My husband wanted to turn it on the other night, he did and 5 minutes in, he said turn it off.

But I also not going back to watching 2-3 hours of cable news. It's ghastly enough getting news that you' re not looking for. I can no longer trust cable news and narratives especially when they pumped up orange hitler 24/7 and when they mentioned Hillary it was all negative email stories.

The one bright note is the MSM news will be attacked and stifled and sued for their reporting the actions under the orange hitler administration.

I realized that MSNBC and CNN are not much better than FOX. Done with them. They've normalized insanity by giving insanity equal time.

I have not turned on cable news for one minute since the elections and I suspect millions of other Dems have also tuned out.

I might get some flack for this, but I hold Rachel Maddow most responsible among the media. She was awful and absolutely hammered Hillary for the last several weeks of the election. She looked visibly shaken when Trump won, I think out of guilt more than anything. The media wanted a horse race, they kept Trump in it and then the FBI gave him the win. It was sickening. If the media had done it's job rather than just try to create ratings this would have been a blowout.

I have not watched them since sometime before the election, and will not watch them any longer. They only need to fool enough of the people, enough of the time, and I'm counting myself out those numbers.
