To say this is an electon like no other is a gross understatement.
Some who say we need to just regroup and vote in more Democrats are only identifying a small fraction of what is needed. You can't fight false propaganda that millions believe to be the truth. Maybe someday singing kumbaya around a political campfire and voting will be the norm. But the norm is out the window. Like the old saying, extraordinary situations call for extraordinary means or fighting fire with fire, you are not going to convince anyone until there is a deadly crisis. I predict there will be that crisis probably sooner than later. Trump and his brown shirts are ball faced lying about a landslide and a mandate along with myriad other, even more negatively impactful things.
Trump is a danger to our country. Using incendiary propaganda and deep pockets he will insure his dictatorial ideas are carried out. It's an extreme situation that appears everyone is just sitting around the glow of the TV watching unfold.
I do not believe we cannot stop him. I believe there are people in the military, political arena and press who are not so cowardly that they would let our precious country go down the tubes.
I'm waiting for the day savvy reporters bulldoze thier way into Trump's and his surrogates faces and puts them on the spot. Tip toeing and walking on eggshells is over. That dog doesn't hunt any longer. But as one person all I can do is hope.
