The Judge was forced to declare a mistrial in Walter Scott trial in South Carolina?

A MISTRIAL?

Did this juror not see the video where the cop shot the poor guy in the back and then attempted to place a throw-away gun near the body?

Couldn't find guilt? WTF???

The cop murdered a black guy. We all saw it.

Right?

In what universe is this cop innocent of manslaughter at the very least?

It was one juror, the rest apparently voted guilty.

Don't know what happened exactly but Gasser shot him from inside the car and he shot him through the passenger window.

The video is clear as could be - Scott was shot in the back on tape.

There's just no way for anyone to have reasonable doubt about this.

Now, they could quibble about what degree of murder or conceivably defer to manslaughter to give some racist ass cover to assign guilt to a fellow white guy, but this is ridiculous.

I hope they try him again and again if necessary.

Unbelievable.

be found guilty of same.
On the other hand, one juror, for reasons I can imagine but not be sure of, refused to find the white cop who shot an unarmed black man running away from him guilty of murder on the grounds that the cop "feared for his life".
Fuck me.
