I think I actually want Trump to pick Petreaus as Secretary of State

I want the hypocrisy to be front and center. The notion of picking a Secretary of State who actually was convicted of passing classified information and was in charge of the military during the Benghazi incident. The cognitive dissonance would be just so great.

Plus passing over Romney after building up his hopes would pretty much confirm everything I suspected about Trump's character.

who is neither scum-of-the-earth corrupt or dangerously extremist, mostly some mixture of both, and who is actually competent. Same for "Mad Dog" Mattis. The alternatives make both amazingly, gratefully acceptable to me, and not as weapons.

Between dominionists eager for a final battle with Satan (via ISIS and Iran--seemingly Satan's no longer headquartered in Russia) and secular hyenas whose greed and bad judgement seemingly know no bounds, we NEED people who won't blow up the world in pursuit of their delusional goals. And obviously some around Trump agree.

He himself is fairly unobjectionable compared to many of the others.

I just think choosing him when he could be held responsible for everything they attempted to throw at Hillary shows the lack of consistency on their part.

Watch him choose Rudy. LOL

Also Patraeus, despite his flaws, would be better than Guiliani or some of the other names that have been floated.
