If Sears is going bankrupt why doesn't Trump save it?

Why doesn't he save the jobs of the restaurant down the street because the mall it is in is going be demolished to make way for a mixed use outdoor retail/residential/office center ?

These people are no more or less valuable than the Carrier workers whose jobs he "saved".

These ad hoc deals are no substitute for a robust safety net and sound economic policy. Capitalism by its very nature is destructive. That doesn't mean it is inherently bad. It does mean it has to be tempered and channeled as much as possible for the common good.

I used to love their liberal return policy and appliance store.
