With Presidunce Trump in office, SO MUCH will be undone. The pipeline will be ressurected and we'll end up paying the constructors for lost profits. Saying it's being stopped for an "Environmental Impact Study" is not the same as saying it's not gonna happen.

That decision will be reversed faster than an ice cube melts in tRump's hell.

ANYTHING that that con-artist can make a buck off OF of course.

Only next time, those who protest might be shot with real bullets in a tRump world. I'm not making light of the situation either. That man is the Devil and so is everyone in his cabinet of deplorables, with him being the head deplorable.

but I'm thinking sniffles will be too busy with the N Koreans, China and Russia testing him. He may have sec of Interior, Energy Sec, or Ted Nugent take care of it. I'm sure they realize that shooting bullets at thousands of vets isn't a real good idea.

Will be the one telling them so shoot the vets, because he'll say he has nothing in common with those Commie Vet protesters.

On a very serious note, who'll STOP a pence/tRump/putin police force which may turn into a military police force if they're told to use real bullets? What if protesters are categorized broadly as terrorists?

All the oil companies that contracted back in 2014 to use DAPL have contracts that are cancelled if it isn't completed by 1/1/17.

Virtually an impossibility now.

They of course can enter new agreements, but price and supply has improved so much since 2014 that it won't be worth it to them.

So the invisible hand of the marketplace may settle this.

We shall see what we shall see.

they have to keep drilling to keep cash coming in to pay off creditors. without the oil being shipped they go bankrupt.
its cheaper to move oil by pipeline than truck or rail. so the oil producers WANT the pipeline to be completed since it will cut their costs

This is a decision of the Army Corps of Engineers. Makes it more difficult to reinstate.
