Thar's GOLD in that thar "climate change."

So why, after pooh-poohing the validity of anthropogenic climate change, is the Parliament of Putzes all of a sudden looking at these potential issues with more attention?

Tell me you don't believe it's because they're concerned about a livable world for their grandchildren.

You're not THAT naive.

Think it through.

If you know where the floods will have the most impact, you can profit off it.

If you know where the new coastlines will form, you can profit off it.

If you know where people are going to be homeless and desperate in vast number, you can profit off it.

If you know where there will be mass die-offs of life, you can profit from it.

The Goldplate Grifter and family may not believe in "climate change" per se, but they know from potential profit opportunities, and desperate people who can be easy marks for their next scam.

flatly,
Bright

they want disaster so they can push their pro-corporate solutions on a panicked electorate.

“Only a crisis -- actual or perceived -- produces real change. When that crisis occurs, the actions that are taken depend on the ideas that are lying around. That, I believe, is our basic function: to develop alternatives to existing policies, to keep them alive and available until the politically impossible becomes the politically inevitable.” — Milton Friedman
