the army corp of engineers has actually recommended the dakota pipeline

the head of the corps went against the agencies recommendation to block it.
given the COE's previous statements that the pipeline complied with all the legal requirements and this statement I can envision a court ordering the COE to issue the easement. There is a court hearing this friday in which the pipeline companies are asking a judge overturn the COE's denial.
