The emerging GOP plan to repeal Obamacare on a delayed schedule — and then maybe kinda sorta replace it later — has raised a big question: Will Democrats help Republicans pass a replacement that is far less generous and comprehensive than the health law is, allowing Republicans an escape from the political fallout from repeal?

In an interview with me, Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer answered this question with a resounding No. Under no circumstances, he vowed, would Democrats throw Republicans such a political lifeline.

“We’re not going to do a replacement,” Schumer said of the Senate Democratic caucus. “If they repeal without a replacement, they will own it. Democrats will not then step up to the plate and come up with a half-baked solution that we will partially own. It’s all theirs.”

I hope Schumer is right. Anyone who compromises at all on this, even as to the tiniest detail, should be purged from the Democratic Party and run out of town.

Now is the time for all democrats to stand in lockstep against the republican monsters that are determined to throw 20 million Americans to the wolves!

NO DAMN COMPROMISES!!

The fu**in republicans will OWN it all!!!!

This will also devastate some hospitals causing some to close doors. 20 million less health care customers will be a body blow to people working in health care as well.

Expect people to lose their jobs over it.

3. Repubs win a lot of the time...

simply because they are willing to burn it all down to satisfy their RW ideology. It's basically what they've been doing the entire Obama presidency.

Dems need the same kind of resolve. I stand as one in the firing line. If Repubs have their way, I'll likely be out of the picture in 5 years or less. But my desire for social and economic justice reach beyond my own lifetime.

6. Prediction,if this happens,

the Stock Market will crash. Insurance Companies hold major portions of our Market,and once this baby goes,these firms will be forced to sell their holdings just to stay in business.
