Trumps team is hoping to do better than Kid Rock & Ted Nugent: They Are Willing to Pay Anything

Donald Trump’s inaugural committee is scrambling to lock in A-list Hollywood performers for the parties celebrating him — and having a rough time booking big names, two insiders tell TheWrap.

Both said that Trump inaugural committee members have contacted them in recent days offering cash or even a government appointment if they could deliver marquee names.

“They are willing to pay anything,”
one of the insiders told TheWrap. “They told me, ‘We’ll pay their fees.’ Most of these artists’ fees are in the six to seven figures.” The insider said the Trump negotiator also offered to pay him for delivering top talent, saying, “Name your price.”

well maybe if the price wasn't monetary, but compensation in the form of the incoming fascists stepping down and letting reasonable people govern the country, but somehow I don't think they'd go for that....heh..."name your price" - ok, my price is for you fuckers to concede and go away forever!

And, since the world runs on self-interest, any A-listers who might be on the fence have to weigh the prospect of a quick buck against putting a permanent stain on their careers. Why I turned a blind eye toward misogyny, racism and xenophobia is a question few artists want to answer.

I'd like to see the hottest groups giving a free concert to the protesters at the Inaugural . Time for the 'artists" to step up and lead the resistance.

Trump won't pay them.

But multiplied by many times! In reality, some "top tier" performers will probably accept in order to give their compensation to charity, but will come to realize that their charity will only receive partial or even no money at all from the Stiffer in Chief

Now I've been smoking for so long
You know I'm here to stay
Got you in a stranglehold baby
You best get out of the way
Gonna cruise is a bitch now baby
You know you can't do me 'round
If your house gets in my way baby
You know I'll burn it down
You remember the night that you left me
You put me in my place
Got you in a stranglehold now baby
You better cross your way
