your court folks.
Read your Washington Post electors. Talk to the CIA.
Save the country or destroy the country, the choice is yours.
But know this, this single vote is how you'll be remembered for the rest of your lives and beyond.

(15,682 posts)We need it. Full names, states represented, occupation/government position. We need to spread it far and wide with the knowledge that they are the ones voting for or against the maggot. At this point it might just matter what people think of them.

Latest moves indicate she won't fade away quietly after election loss".

(6,342 posts)What you are saying is going to fall on deaf ears. They are thinking of the Supreme Court.
And the GOP isn't going to install anyone else. Their base would kill them in the next election.

(15,206 posts)Although all of these scenarios are long shots, a relatively more likely way to save the country is to get Republican electors to vote for a different Republican, someone like Kasich or Romney. That would still suck, of course, but it's far less damaging than to let Trump win. That's a solution that allows the Republican electors to stay loyal to their own party while still saving the country from the worst option.
To really push this over the top, rather than letting the election fall to the House to decide, Clinton could implore her electors to also vote for the alternate Republican, giving that Republican an immediate win without having to hope the House also revolts against Trump.

(13,390 posts)It would be the least divisive solution. It would actually be a great showing of leadership and patriotism for Clinton to do that.
Only a self absorbed glutton for punishment would try to exploit this situation to the advantage of the other party. Serving as president under those circumstances would be a nightmare.
I would much rather be anticipating a Clinton presidency, but given the circumstances, Kasich or Romnet would be a relief.
