I am really f**king tired of hearing the phrase

"well, he is the president". He is not the president ....not yet, but I hear people on TV even those who do not support him say it. Barack Obama is the damn president and I want to hang on to that info as long as I can.

I will not even use the term president-elect, since most of us did not vote for him.

Listen you hear it every day and I scream at the TV not NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And I have been hanging onto the fact that Obama is still the president! Got me through Thanksgiving!

The thing that really makes me mad about this is it's like we are supposed to forget the crappy treatment they gave Obama. Questioning his citizenship (and Rump was big into that!), openly stating that they were blocking anything he tried to accomplish.

I don't watch TV, so I don't have to hear this a lot. But even as much as I love and respect Obama, when he did something I did not like, I said so. And I will be no different with anyone who takes the oath of office. It is not a shield or a prize. It is a job, and if you ain't doing it well, I will tell you! (even if it is just yelling at a computer or phone screen).

Well, the children of immigrants who grow up here from the time they were in diapers and only know the language here are Americans and well, it is cruel and unusual to send them to a community where they have no connections, in a country they know nothing about, and that speaks a language they do not know.

Well, the men, women, and children who are fleeing from Daesh are refugees and sending them back to Daesh is the same as gift-wrapping human sacrifices to the group.

Well, transgender people exist and they aren't abnormal or dangerous.

That is the reply.
