so. Where is the punchline to this mess, this bad joke? Think about the recent headlines...

Stacking a cabinet with the dregs and deplorables from the swamp
Talk of gutting programs that WE PAID INTO - (THEY ARE NOT ENTITLEMENTS as the word is framed by the right wing) - Social Security, Medicare
Talk of dismantling groups that provide all sorts of regulation and oversight
And now we get reports that completely undermine the legitimacy of the election (of course, many of us are not surprised).

But - what is missing is the punchline. The retribution. The people - the acts - those who are about our country, our system - that will do something about this.

You can't just bring this stuff out, splash it all over the media - and just shrug and say "oh well".....

This is all, when added up, hugely dispiriting - and crushing for the confidence and identity of this country and its people.

The joke is awful - I am waiting to see if at least a good punchline can salvage (instead of savage) our lives and our future.

FFS, Social Security and Medicare ARE ENTITLEMENTS. We're entitled to them because we paid into them KittyWampus Dec 2016 #4

Those who understand that something unprecedented, if not un-presidented, is happening are running around like chickens with their heads cut off, because there is no quick fix to the problem, and despite their not-so-benign negligence, it won't go away. To invalidate the election would be to admit the system is broken, and what system exists to put in its place?

And those who are licking their chops over the glorious possibilities ahead have no reason to desire action.

Actually that can be the R's new party name. Very NSFW for language and subject matter.
