What Happened: When conservative site Breitbart used a Weather Channel report to “support” its lies about climate change, the Weather Channel had to drop its Nice Network act and get real.
Where It Blew Up: Twitter, media reports
What Really Happened: At the end of November, right-wing cereal conspiracist site Breitbart published a misleading report about climate change that featured a Weather Channel video about La Niña in an attempt to support its claims. The Weather Channel was not a fan of this move:
