The NSA records foreign phone calls, American intelligence spy's on Russia and Putin a former KGB officer running a super power with missiles pointed at the United States. Donald Trump a well known con man billionaire, who does not pay taxes with questionable income and clear ties to Russia runs for President and has the audacity to publicly ask Russia to spy on his American opponent a former Secretary of State. Trump also hires known Russian proxies.
Just how is it possible he has not been investigated by the most sophisticated best funded intelligence law enforcement agencies known to exist? This has to be in all human history the most public obvious betrayal ever recorded.

(10,857 posts)It's--what's the word?--a secret. The way they generate their information is an important secret. They don't want to leak information because it's totally illegal in a hundred different ways, because the information itself can reveal the way the information is generated.
Nevertheless, when it's really important, they try hard to get the word out, and the Washington Post and the Voice of America have been telling all of you, since the summer, that something was seriously wrong. President Obama told all of you that something was seriously wrong with Donald Trump. People posted those articles here. People like me told you what it meant.
So who missed it? You guys did.

(15,237 posts)Republicans own Trump and all his problems. Disinformation and the lazy M$M did not help. Trump deserved the political informational equivalent of a drone strike months ago. Republicans should have cleaned their own house but chose to largely ignore what was happening.

(10,134 posts)It's not like there was a shortage of negatives for Trump: dubious business practices, numerous bankruptcies, cozying up to Putin, putting himself and his businesses first, stiffing suppliers, non-payment of federal income taxes (as Clinton brought up several times), and in general not doing anything that didn't put money in his own pockets. Oh, and the total lack of prior interest in politics and public service.
