With news that the CIA confirmed Russia’s explicit intent to help elect Donald Trump as President, Republicans now stand at a crossroads. They may either choose to admit they were wrong to literally thwart the President from informing the public as he intended to do, or they may continue obstructing investigations into the biggest presidential scandal since Watergate.

Leading the Republican charge to continue unofficially colluding with Russia to install Donald Trump as President is Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY). In September – when confronted with insurmountable classified evidence compiled by the CIA confirming Russia was literally interfering with the U.S. elections process, McConnell chose partisanship over national security. He literally threatened to poison President Obama’s warning to the nation about that intelligence (had Obama chose to go public) by calling it political posturing to elect Hillary Clinton.
