Did John McCain actually say this out loud on Charlie Rose?

PBS in the background, he said this about Russian Hacking, paraphrasing; "And they also attacked our MILITARY-INDUSTRIAL-COMPLEX."

Amazing that he replaced "'our United States of America" with MIC. To an establishment, entrenched, overly wealthy war hawk like McCain, they are indeed now one and the same, so much that speaking in such terms is now brazenly open.

An observation on the mind set of our rulers and their minions.

1. Of course they did...

The MIC makes money three ways. The first is through Research and Development, which the investor class loves; makes the most money in terms of investment, even if it fails, they get their money back. The second is manufacturing and provision less profitable, but really politically profitable in terms of jobs. The third way is contracted services for operations and maintenance/support. That's not so profitable, and when looking at the Russian military and other militaries managed by oligarchies, that third component, maintenance and support, is not a high priority.
If the US begins following the Russian military support model, pretty much every program's systems engineering, support and QA will be slashed to go into the first two methods of money making.
Because the actual military is basically disposable in theses cultures.
