lost in a bizarre election process. One that is replete with dishonesty, cheating and subterfuge. An election that allowed the media to replace its responsibility to the nation that gave it its franchise for informing the country for that of entertainment, and cash.
We have abandoned our principles of being a republic. No longer do we the people hold the power of self rule. We have given it over to those who see only personal power as their goal. The idea of selfless service to the nation which has entrusted authority and responsibility to them has fallen to the wayside. Fallen as if it were some sort of alien creature, an abomination that is rejected because egalitarianism is a horror best stomped into oblivion before it spreads.
To say that I'm an alarmist, that I'm over come with illogical fear, well I sincerely hope that is correct. But in your private moments when you reflect on what has been done to our nation, and what is about to be inflicted on it, you must realize the distinct possibility if not absolute truth that we have allowed the greatest mistake possible to occupy the highest office in the land.
