(42,692 posts)If it had been intended otherwise, the Constitution would call for the electors to meet in a single location, not in their individual states. Communications amongst themselves in the 19th century would have been all but impossible.
And there is no way that any of the Republican electors can be forced to participate in any discussions or briefing.
It's not a serious demand and will simply be rejected, particularly since there is no way that sensitive intelligence information is going to be shared with 538 un-vetted electors.
