Donald Trump campaign spokeswoman Katrina Pierson is actively pursuing a role in the president-elect’s administration, CNN Money reported Tuesday.

Pierson, a frequent figure on cable news during the campaign defending the businessman, visited Trump Tower in New York on Tuesday and met with members of his transition team, according to the report.

One source told the network that Pierson made the case to become Trump's White House press secretary, while another said she was "looking at a lot of opportunities."

“I’m at Trump Tower because I work here,” she told the network in an email. "I’m a senior advisor for the Trump transition team. Our meetings are confidential.”
