Except from enrichment from foreign bribes. Other offices are not exempt.

Get in the way of Republican voter's emotions. They may occasionally look at facts, but only made up bullshit facts that confirm their precious, sensitive feelings -- bullshit so obvious that random people reading them in Nigeria and Hong Kong who have never even been to the Western Hemisphere are reading them and saying "This is obviously bullshit. Who the fuck is stupid enough to believe bullshit like this?"

Some of them we can get through to, many of them. They're not all inherently bad. Hell, even many of the racists can be reached. But it takes work. And it will take more work.

We have to raise hell against our politicians until they're willing to raise hell on ou behalf.
We need to raise hell with the mainstream media until they do their fucking jobs.
We need to support investigative media financially to the best of our ability -- even if it's just clicking "like" on all their articles to bring in eyes and attention (Mother Jones!)
We need to realize that we're all progressives here and that ninety percent of the country agrees with us, but only if we frame the message and deliver it correctly.
We need to realize that we're all progressives here and that's WHY we won't all agree: most of us are thinkers.
We need to remember that mostly what we disagree on is tactics & strategy, not goals & values.
We need to realize that retail politics are what win. We need to be active on social media, yes, but we can't be afraid to talk to people we meet at the grocery store, or cranky relatives, or our neighbors.
We need to join liberal clubs & organizations, and we need to keep organizing.
We need, most of us, a refresher course on in-person political discourse: effective face-to-face communication.

There's a bunch of other stuff we need to do as well, but we need to remember to get some sleep sometimes.
