Electoral College vote to be postponed?

I thought I heard a blurb about this. It seems like a great idea.
The Electorates need time to absorb the situation.
Has anyone heard this?

Note that the electors meet in each state. They never meet as a body of the whole Electoral College. They only vote one, and if the one vote does not result in 270 or more for a single candidate, the election goes to the House.

There appear to be about 30 states with a majority of Republican representatives.
