If this were Obama or Clinton (Bill or Hillary pick your decade) - they would be screeching like banshees. While it is true that their apparent appreciation for Authoritarians makes it look like he's their type of guy... I don't think that is the reason. Top dog (gak Trump) says Putin +++! (he and advisors see $$$), then loud mouth influencers on Radio and Fox say Putin +++! and "Anyone who sez otherwise is evil! and CHIIIIna is the real threat!" repeat for 36 hours - and the lemmings have turned on the cog. dissonance and are following the leader.... 'Putin +++!' adding 'If you don't like it Leave the Country!'

Or that is my version of the rw insanity cycle of accepting as holy (politically speaking) that was dastardly and evil last year.

8. I think your outsourcing claim is dubious. Free trade, otoh, does have some supporters.

Free trade has hurt some blue collar industries but others like agriculture have benefitted. Then there is the whole white collar aspect to consider. For some, free trade has been good and for others, free trade has been bad. You will not find a consensus here on free trade due to its mixed results. If only blue collar manufacturing is important to you, then you're not looking at the entire picture.
