On Monday I get re-checked for C-diff. If that is okay, then infusion on Friday. After that, we will be doing a scope and doing labs to see if the biologic is working. I am off work until Feb 1 at the earliest, but possibly until March 20. I need to get back to work, but I need to get well or this will happen again. Kind of a weird comment from my doctor-I could have gotten C-Diff from a student because my immune system is gone, any virus whether they have had strep or anything else could have caused the C-Diff.
I am scared what this may mean in the future. This is the 2nd time I have had C-Diff
I have been keeping a log and the RR incidents have slowed way down. During the last month I lost 20 lbs but today I gained a pound.

(4,673 posts)also have a question.
In the thread you linked to, the last poster asked a question on 12/1 about the 30K goal which you didn't answer. http://www.democraticunderground.com/10028320416#post72 . That might be helpful to know for those who wish to donate.
I know how rugged medical issues are (I have cancer and am on chemo for life) and that they drain us in many ways. There is medication financial help for those both with and without insurance, and your doc's office can be of a lot of help. I've gotten assistance for several high-priced meds for 2 different conditions - they are a wealth of information!
Here's hoping for the best possible news Monday.

(31,997 posts)I had 1,500 immediate student loan payment.
Now, the rest is for the SL payments so that I can not rush back to work only to be in the same situation again.
