Warning: Eye bleach needed. Have you noticed that a lot of media outlets

--print, broadcast, and internet--are deliberately using particularly ugly Trump photos?

Sure, he always looks awful, but some photos look worse than others, and I notice that a lot of news sites seem to use the ugliest ones they can find.

Not that there's anything wrong with that, heh heh heh.

Part of the reason, no doubt, is that he makes nasty faces to express his nasty ideas, so it is easy to catch him with an ugly expression on his face: looking vicious, smug, cruel, arrogant, mocking, or simply foolish and ridiculous.

because he is always expressing his awful, ugly inner self. I don't think he has any face that's kind, or honest, or trustworthy, or gentle, or even just NORMAL... because he isn't normal in any sense of the word. He can't express those things in his facial expressions because none of that exists within him.

for eight years, so a normal person would probably have trouble competing. They are healthy, vibrant 50-somethings who have taken care of themselves.

Trump is unfortunately 70+ and vain, and does not have the genetics to age like wine. He does pay to keep his hair implants soft as candy floss and his skin stained with a healthy beta-carotene glow, neither of which read very well on film. He also likely dines in his horrible restaurant often, likely room service to his penthouse instead of taking the short walk, and will likely be using his helicopter to commute between the west wing and the east wing of the White House.

He was a turd back in the 70s. Can you imagine this filthy bastard walking up to you at Studio 54 in 1979 and offering you a snort for a ride on his tiny Cheeto, which is of course what he did.

Then look at his despicable offspring, Patrick Bateman and Patrick Bateman II, who think that by speaking really fast and breahtlessly makes their words legitimate. The sons who went to Africa and killed endangered animals for fun.

This is a despicable, wretched family. Fuck them.

Maybe they were under pressure not to.

Regardless, news outlets have lots of these "outtake" photos and have chosen to use them now to subtly try to build back the credibility they lost this cycle. These are the people paid to cover Trump's cabinet appointments and follow them closely. They are horrified and reacting with alarm. Maybe a few editors or news directors are regretting their past coverage. Maybe they will rediscover their role as a free press and fight attempts to influence coverage.

I don't expect a big change of heart from cable news or the broadcast networks. But this is an opportunity for independent journalism and citizen reporters to really shine.
