Trump lies again in tweet celebrating historic Electoral College victory
http://www.rawstory.com/2016/12/trump-lies-again-in-tweet-celebrating-historic-electoral-college-victory/
TheHill.com pointed out that when Trump wrote, We did it! Thank you to all of my great supporters, we just officially won the election (despite all of the distorted and inaccurate media) on Monday night, he is once again spreading disinformation about himself and his campaign.
Though Trump bragged of historic margins, he trails Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton by 2.8 million votes in the popular vote tally and The New York Times notes there have been 45 presidential elections in which the winning candidate won a larger share of the Electoral College vote, wrote The Hills Jessie Hellmann.
While reputable media outlets struggle to fact-check the daily tsunami of untruths from Trump and his team, his supporters appear to be eager to accept anything he says, regardless of its relationship to verifiable fact.
Although Trump lost the popular vote by a count of nearly 3 million, the majority of his followers believe he won it handily, yet another example of the post-truth ideological world that Trump and his supporters are said by some to inhabit.

It was a historical electoral college vote. In the year 2066 on the 50th Anniversary of "The Great Orange Blunder". The History Channel will air a special on why the Electoral College was finally abolished.
