You picture the historical Nazis wrong.

- The Nazis weren't some merciless force of bureaucratic perfection. Indeed, the Nazis messed with the german bureaucracy to a great deal. The Nazis put their cronies and lackeys into all positions of power, whether they were qualified or not, whether they were needed or not. And they obviously needed a bombastic title to show off.

- The Nazis did lots of cozy deals with big corporations.

- The Nazis loved big stupid projects. And when I say big, I mean biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig. And when I say stupid, I mean stuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuupid. Be it ridiculous, bombastic and tasteless architecture (they tried to build a dome so big, it would have had its own micro-climate), ridiculous, bombastic and tasteless art, bombastic and useless weapons (most of the V-rockets never worked)...

- The Nazis had their own lab for nuclear research. It was under-funded to begin with and the budget was cut AGAIN during the war because Goebbels thought the money would be better spent on some propaganda-project.
The lesson? The Nazis didn't have an atomic bomb because the politicians valued phallic military gear over the work of their scientists.

You see? Trump's administration has nothing in common with the Nazis.
There's no cronies, just supremely qualified billionaires, surgeons and ... ah, I forget.
There's no cozy deals with corporations, just tax-cuts and deregulation in return for campaign-donations.
There's no big, stupid architecture Trump is trying to build.
There's no prevalence towards propaganda and no disrespect towards scientific research.

You may stop comparing Trump to the Nazis now.

but, to be fair, the other guy drew much larger crowds and was significantly more coherent, generally.

By this point in my lifetime, I would have basically no idea what Hitler actually WAS like, if not for my History undergrad degree.
