Where the Democrats should start?

In my opinion, they should start with the Supreme Court nominee that has been put on hold by Mitch McConnell and the Republicans.

Democrats should refuse to agree to any of their nominations or any legislation until they agree to vote on Merrick Garland. That is only fair and square.

If necessary, they should be willing to fight the Republicans at every turn for the next two years, until the next election. They should devote themselves to being nothing but the opposition Party.

But, the place to start is with the Merrick Garland appointment to the Supreme Court. If the Republicans cannot agree to that, we cannot agree with them on anything.

Just my opinion.

Obama could renominate Garland between 1/3/17 and 1/20/17 to the 115th Congress Senate. Or he could nominate someone else, or do nothing and leave things to Trump.

Trump can withdraw any nomination by Obama on 1/20/17.

I would like to see President Obama push this nomination as soon as he returns from Hawaii. If the Republicans cannot work with us, why should we work with them? They do not own our Supreme Court.

Which is why they will do nothing until trump appoints and maybe they might do something.
