Is the rule of law now only for Little People?

Obviously the Repubs are now above the law. They are just choosing to do whatever they want since there really isn't any way to stop them. Commit fraud. No problem. Steal from losers. No problem. They deserve it because they were too stupid to see it coming. Con poor people out of what little they have. Hey, go for it. Beat people up, shout horrible stuff at them. Yea. We are finally free to do what we have wanted to do for years.

Our politics now isn't any different than politics in a third world dictatorship. Absolutely anything goes. Anything as long as we win.

How on earth did we get to this?

I can't think of any super rich people ever spending time in time in jail.

Remember the attempted coup against FDR in 1933? We heard very little about it and no one spent a second in jail.
