Stein's attorneys send letter to DOJ urging for investigation of voting system

BY PATRICIA MADEJ / PhillyVoice Staff - DECEMBER 23, 2016

Jill Stein, the former Green Party presidential candidate, is calling on the Department of Justice to investigate the nation's electoral system.

tein's attorneys sent a formal letter Friday to Attorney General Loretta Lynch to look into the "integrity" of the process and the nation's voting machines, citing "grave concerns" found during her recount efforts in Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin.

Stein fears that human error, tampering and cyber attacks have impacted the Nov. 8 election results, according to the letter.

The letter references specific incidents across the three states and said that in Pennsylvania, many who wanted to vote through an absentee ballot never got them in time to cast their vote...

If she's right, and I'm certain that she is, it means her role in Nov. 8 was as insignificant as any other single factor, including Bernie, Comey, and all the rest. Basically they just swiped it. Of course having to fight an interminable primary didn't exactly help is focus on the real problem which is grossly corrupt election systems.

I will never believe this was a legit. election.

I am disappointed that Clinton is not requesting an investigation, not to gain the office, but to be sure that it doesn't happen again.

It will happen again, I doubt we'll see another real election in my lifetime.

the election because she hasn't seen evidence. President Obama and Harry Reid have seen the evidence and I trust them more than Stein any day

In Michigan Hillary lost by .3%. Stein received 1.1%. similar results in Wisconsin and other critical swing states where if Steins votes went to Hillary we wouldn't be facing the disaster we will be facing

Sorry Stein, AG Lynch term is up, and it wouldn't get very far thanks to your efforts to undermine the Hillary campaign, so if you are interested let's see how far you get with the racists Jeff Sessions

Doesn't matter since all you are looking for is the spotlight anyway

Nader tried something like this in 2000 also
