I similarly went "Eh?" (anybody tempted to post bafflement, please take note).

As for the Subject/Title part, "Eh?", I was perfectly adjusted to expect my usual sinking of whatever I post, especially those of my less erratic stuff that I actually spend 45 minutes of preparation and original thought on, while my junk posts get popularly flamed, and am only responding/kicking here because this got kicked up.

Might as well take this opportunity to vent about the apparent irritant quality of my posts to many. The past 15 or so years of my getting used to internet manners and matters have resulted in this: If I don't like something on the internet, I pass on by without leaving a trace of my displeasure, certainly not judgments about how stupid the poster (in this case, ME) is, unless it's something racist/Deplorable/etc. If there's something that is knowledge/fact opaque to me AND if I'm interested enough, I will Google which more often than not clears it up immediately, or if there appears to be a cognitive opacity to it, will pass on by again.

As I said, let's just let this go all the way to the bottom, the sooner the better!1
