Political Predictions for Trump 2017: All Your Base R Belong to Semion Mogilevich

Now that I am beginning to suspect that the real power behind Trump is Semion Mogilevich, I want to make a few political predictions.

But first, how the hell can we write or talk about a guy whose name we can not pronounce or spell? No one wants to look like a dumbass for getting the name wrong. And this may lead some writers to avoid the guy. Never fear! I have come up with a way to make "Mogilevich" as easy to remember as "Kochs"--his US equivalents----

And yes, I really mean that. All mega-businessmen are equally corrupt and criminal in my eyes. They all defraud people and have people killed and do all kinds of dirty nasty stuff which they justify in the names of nationalism. Think Pinochet and Chile. I have nothing personal against Mr. Mogilevich who is probably as much a proud self styled Russian patriot as the Kochs are proud self styled United States patriots. I just do not want to see my brothers and sisters around the world suffer too much from the inevitable shrapnel that is produced when mega-businessmen aka mobsters get into one of their now global turf wars.

Now, back to my point. First, even though I do not believe in the outdated concepts of good and evil, note that his name contains the word "evil." Or rather il-ev. Stick a Mog on front of that---think "Mob" with a G for gansta. And "ich" at the end cause he is Russian and there you have it. Mob with a G for gansta instead of a B plus evil split and stuck together backwards to make it even more Satanic and scary plus the obligatory -ich that makes it sound Russian. And remember, since he is Russian and his name is spelled with a different alphabet you can always claim that your version is more "accurate".

Ok, so how does this gazillionaire make his money? Energy, weapons, bank and security fraud. The Big Three of Shady Ways to Make Lots of Money Fast if You Have the Ethics of Attila the Hun. So, look for lots of executive branch meddling in energy---check, Trump is already on it. And weapons--check, Trump is already on it. And banking/investment---check three. Go Trump! You are such a faithful poodle to the poodle Putin!

"Hellova lot smarter" pretty much describes Mogilevich.

There are probably other really smart people in the U.S. and Russia, but we also have to factor in motive----and quashing a federal indictment or issuing a pardon is what a U.S. president does best. He does not even need Congressional approval like he would need to declare a (legal) war like the ones the Project for the New American Century wanted W. to declare. And covert wars are getting tricky. We are well past the days when Nixon could get up on TV in front of a black board and tell us why the Killing Fields of Cambodia were essential for our national interest.

If anyone else can think of anything that any Russian needed more than Mogilevich needs the feds off his back, I would love to hear about it. I have not discounted the possibility that Afghanistan plays into this as well. Every energy mobster (including Enron's Ken Lay and Jeff Skilling) seems to have some kind of hard on for Afghanistan.

Or---and here is an interesting one---Hillary Clinton is on record as saying she would have sent troops into Rwanda to stop the genocide regardless of the political consequences. Is there a big fat genocide that Russia is intending to either commit or facilitate? That's one that needs to be explored. As much as I dread what Trump will do to his fellow Americans, it is people in other countries that will suffer the most and it is our duty as Americans to make sure that Trump does not sit back and allow a genocide because Putin tells him to.
