NO MORE! NO MORE! NO MORE!

ACTION APATHY

Think about it… “Action Apathy.”
Apply this to yourself. Own it. Yes, YOU, the one reading this.

Being outraged by injustice and NOT DOING something about it, is “Action Apathy.”

Turning outrage into action requires effort. It just does. It requires effort. Participate. Participate: 10 min, 20 min, 40 min, 90 minutes - each and every day - taking ACTION. There is a huge difference between complaining and acting.

Next month, the republicans will be passing law… after law… after law… after law that will overwhelm, outrage and oppress us. Make a plan now of turning that outrage into ACTION. Every Day. Make your action plans. You know what actions are available, if not, learn and create. Participate.

January 20th and January 21st there will be protests all across this county. Find them. Find them in your own towns/cities, or create them, or travel to them, and take to the streets. Take to the streets! No excuses. Get off early, or go the other day, or go part of the day. Make it happen. Make the effort to SHOW your outrage. Make your sign. Create actions that disrupt. Bring your friends.

This is not good enough: I have read people making comments here that they are not going to ‘watch the inauguration’ as though that is action enough. NO!!! Take to the streets! Rain, sun, snow, sleet, cold, hot… take to the streets.

So, this thread is about Jan. 20th and Jan. 21st taking to the streets. It is also about ongoing efforts of action each and every day, turning the outrage into action and participating. It requires effort.

Thank you! Thank you for caring enough to make the effort to take action and BUST the “action apathy” epidemic.

p.s. I realize this does not apply to all. Many of us go to great lengths to take action. Yet, please help to bust the "action apathy" epidemic.

massive revolt about Judge Garland being frozen out of consideration? If we can't do anything legally to force his consideration, surely we can make a big public issue out of the flagrant injustice. We are just meekly rolling over on this enormous issue.

They're the party of "NO" and apparently we are the party of "Well, okay."

Because we stupidly assumed we'd win the WH? Is that the extent of our leadership's strategy? We are continually outmaneuvered.

That said, it was encouraging to see Senator Warren's move today insisting on reviewing evidence about the lack of bank prosecutions for the '08 crisis. I hope Schumer is warming up the engines.
