Creationist Ken Ham Lit Up Ark Encounter To Take the Rainbow Back from LGBT People

Source: Patheos.com

It’s nice of Creationist Ken Ham to light up Ark Encounter in the colors of the rainbow in honor of LGBT pride.

Wait… no, that can’t be right. What’s the real significance?

… the rainbow represents the “everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth” (Genesis 9:16).

The rainbow stands as a poignant reminder that God keeps His promises. Despite the wickedness in the world, God has not sent another global Flood to destroy all flesh.

That falls under the idea of "logic". That is soon to be 'dangerous' thinking in the upcoming administration.

YET.

These dumb fuckers have it backward. THAT flood was myth, the next one will be real as shit (and MANMADE).

Ken Hamm is the spiritual idiots idea of what a spiritual smart person is.

And no, I'm done trying to find empathy or understanding for their little hurt feelings. Either we find a way to defeat them, or they will get all of us (including themselves) KILLED.

10. I don't agree with his hate, but the story of the ark and the rainbow are associated.

Genesis 9:11-17
11I will establish my covenant with you, that never again shall all creatures be destroyed by the waters of a flood; there shall not be another flood to devastate the earth.h 12God said: This is the sign of the covenant that I am making between me and you and every living creature with you for all ages to come: 13i I set my bow in the clouds to serve as a sign of the covenant between me and the earth. 14When I bring clouds over the earth, and the bow appears in the clouds, 15I will remember my covenant between me and you and every living creature—every mortal being—so that the waters will never again become a flood to destroy every mortal being.j 16When the bow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature—every mortal being that is on earth. 17God told Noah: This is the sign of the covenant I have established between me and every mortal being that is on earth.

I guess Mr. Ham doesn't get this part: "I will see it (the bow) and remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature—every mortal being that is on earth."

It's ironic that of Noah's 3 sons Ham is cursed by his father.

God is love. God made gays and lesbians. I don't understand how someone can hate another for who they love. Some of these people hate interracial marriage too. Instead of practicing love and understanding, they are too busy perpetuating hate and fear.

Special God Wood will hold together no matter how much load you put on it.

Another way this story falls apart: They tell me you must have Faith to believe this story. That's nice, but the story I am expected to believe is, four men equipped with nothing but hand tools built a ship the size of an Oliver Hazard Perry-class frigate out of wood in an area where there never have been any forests...and no one noticed they were up there doing it.
