He is so right!

If a Democrat feels the need to perform a quid pro quo for a corporate donor they better rethink that idea at this point! All the corporate donor money in the world will not keep them in office next time if we do our jobs as citizens!

Anthony Bourdain dined with President Obama last week on the season premiere of CNN’s “Parts Unknown,” but don’t expect him to break bread with the “loathsome” Donald Trump anytime soon.

“Absolutely f—ing not,” the globe-trotting foodie told TheWrap when asked if he would care for a private dining session with The Donald.

“I’ve been a New Yorker most of my life, [and] for better or worse Mr. Trump is a New Yorker,” Bourdain said. “We know him well here. We’ve watched how he does business and we’ve watched him say things and then we’ve seen whether or not he did those things, we have seen how he treats the people he does business with. I would give the same answer that I would have given 10 years ago, when he was just as loathsome,” he added.

See, the thing is that New Yorkers know who Donald Trump is. He's been around a long time and he's been an a$$hole for all that time. It's been well documented.

Trump's BS has been known to New Yorkers for decades -- businesses and many banks will have nothing to do with him. Now we all get to cringe at his behavior as POTUS.

Second, Bloomberg's authority in denouncing Trump comes from the fact that he is a fellow New York billionaire. And from that place, Bloomberg eviscerated Trump's business record. "Trump says he wants to run the nation like he's running his business," he said, noting Trump's history of bankruptcies and bilking contractors. "God help us!"

"I'm a New Yorker and I know a con when I see one," he continued. "The richest thing about Donald Trump is his hypocrisy."

Chef Anthony Bourdain recently clarified why he has refused to eat at any restaurant owned by Donald Trump. The television personality blasted chefs who "tacitly support" the president-elect's immigration policy by working for him in a tweet Thursday, while also noting the prevalence of undocumented immigrants in the restaurant industry.

"I am not 'boycotting' anything," Bourdain wrote. "I choose to not patronize chefs who tacitly support deporting half the people they've ever worked with."

The tweet came as a follow up to comments Bourdain made in an interview with Eater, which was published Wednesday. When asked about sushi chef Alessandro Borgognone's recent decision to move his restaurant to Trump's Washington D.C. hotel, Bourdain said he would "never eat in his restaurant" and felt "utter and complete contempt" for the chef. He went on to add:

"It’s not helpful, that sort of thing [opening in a contentious hotel]. I’m not asking you to start putting up barricades now, but when they come and ask you, 'Are you with us?' You do have an option. You can say, 'No thanks, guys. I don’t look good in a brown shirt. Makes me look a little, I don’t know, not great. It’s not slimming.'"

raising Medicare eligibility and raising minimum wage does?

Universal pre-K, reforming higher education costs...

Real infrastructure spending, not the tax break GOP bullshit, brings good jobs.

Dems are the only ones who help the poor.
