Would Trump Appoint Liberal or at least Souter type Justice in Exchange for A list performer ?

This is a serious question and whether we could or should do this.

Obama has said that Trump is not ideological . we know his biggest concern is his being seen as popular/famous/sucessful and his personal wealth.

Trump does not really care who gets on the SC . he probably couldn't even name all the current ones if asked.

Could some on our side get arrange something where he appoints a justice we would be ok with if he can get a popular performer ?

His vow to pick anti-choice justices was never about principles in the first place.

I have no doubt in my mind he'd never hold up his end of such a bargain. He'd claim the performer was subpar and not worth what they'd agreed upon, or some such blather.

Isn't it great to have a President we can trust?
I'm sure the rest of the world feels the same way.

Not that I think it would work, but it's still not a bad thought.

and has a long history of reneging on deals.

Bloomberg warned he was a con man. Said it at the Dem convention.

You don't ever do a "deal" with a person like that and expect them to honor it.

The performer would perform, and - just like house painters, masons and carpenters - he'd renege on his end of the bargain after the work was done.

17. It doesn't sound silly because it's Trump. But it wouldn't work because you can't trust him.

And also there's the issue of confirmation. But it's funny to think about anyway. He's totally the type who would take a deal like that.

Trump has no honor or credibility and is a pathological liar. He would lie through his teeth and then renege on any promise later on.
