I remember just before the election, when folks were anticipating a Clinton victory, there was a spate of articles and thumb-suckers about how she was going to have to reach across the aisle, and reassure the good people of Texas and Mississippi and West Virginia and Kansas that she would be governing for all Americans, even in the enclaves where they couldn't stand even the thought of a woman president.

Now? Nope, not a peep about how Trump or the Republicans have to take into consideration any concerns from across the aisle, and certainly no requirement that the Republicans reassure the people in California and Oregon and New York. It's almost like there's one very high standard for Democrats, and none at all for Republicans. Strange.
